Rather, the Top Gun watches are a statement of confidence from IWC, expressing its view that, like the recruits at the Fighter Weapons School, its products are the best of the best. The Top Gun logo only appears on the most impressive models, such as this enormous pilot's watch, with its extra lightweight ceramic case made with zirconium oxide fired at temperatures approaching 2,000 degrees centigrade. In-house calibre 51111 has an equally impressive seven-day power reserve.
